THE AIMS
The aim of Level 2A is the students to develop the basic mental calculation ability in addition. Have them take the time to study until they obtain a solid foundation including good speed and accuracy.
IMPORTANT POINTS
Each new section (e.g. adding 4, adding 5, adding 6, etc) should be completed smoothly within the Standard Completion Time to develop the students’ ability to solve addition problems in order.
Worksheets 2A51–70, 111–130, and 171–200 feature a summary of the previous addition problems starting from adding 1. It is important to develop the skills to smoothly add any numbers, while reviewing the formerly-learned is addition.
