THE AIMS

The aim of Level G is for students to develop the skills to calculate positive and negative numbers, algebraic expressions and linear equations based on their skills to calculate fractions which have been improved up to Level F in order to obtain the skills necessary for Level H.

IMPORTANT POINTS
Many examples and supplemental explanations are presented from Level G; therefore, students learn from the worksheets by closely referring to the examples as well as supplemental explanations and footnotes.

Students are to write the intermediate steps exactly as shown in the example without omitting steps until they get full used to the new calculation procedure.

After Worksheet G128, students should use improper fractions rather than mixed numbers. This is because in algebraic expressions the multiplication sign ‘×’ is often omitted and mixed numbers may cause the expression to be misread.
