The aims of Level F are to further develop the computational skills with fractions which have been acquired in Level E to smoothly calculate more complicated problems with mixed four operations, in order to obtain the skills necessary for Level G.


Students tend to make mistakes in calculations of 3 fractions and order of operations in Level F, since the calculation skills required in level F are higher than in Level E. For smoother progress, it is essential to have students write the appropriate intermediate steps. Also, it is necessary to re-check if they have the attitude to make corrections properly.
