Checklist for New Families

5 Steps to Complete Enrolment Checklist

The following steps are part of the checklist for families attending their Parent Orientation. Please attend to these tasks while your child/ren is sitting their diagnostic test/s:

  1. Kumon official video (11mins). Click here to view.
  2. Book Your Child’s Diagnostic Test
Click here to choose a date and time for your child/ren’s diagnostic testing session. We’ll be keen to discuss your child/ren’s test results and recommended Easy Starting Point in the Kumon program. This will be:

      • either in person directly after the test/s is marked and assessed OR
      • via a WhatsApp video call at a mutually arranged time soon after.

The Diagnostic Testing Session is at the same time as our regular study sessions so you’ll get to see ‘students in action’ and your child/ren will get a feel for what it’s like to ‘attend a Kumon Centre’.

This session is also obligation free so if you decide Kumon is not for your child at this time then that’s completely fine.

You’ll also receive a ‘Welcome Pack’ and your child will be issued with their ‘Kumon bag’.

  1. ‘Enrolment Paperwork’
This ‘paperwork’ needs to be completed prior to your child attending their first Kumon study session:
      1. Official registration of your child’s enrolment details with Kumon Australia & New Zealand. Click this link if you wish to complete it now. Our Centre ID is 61C00798.
      2. Setting up your monthly Kumon payment. Click here to download your Ezidebit form to complete and sign OR alternatively, a paper copy will be supplied in your ‘Welcome Pack’ at your child’s Diagnostic Testing Session. Don’t forget to bring the completed form with you.
        • Monthly fees are $140 per subject per child.
        • One-off setup costs:
          • $100 enrolment fee per child and;
          • $100 cost & consumable fee per child [$80 second child and $60 third child].

      • Students enrolled in both subjects attend sessions back to back on the same day.
      • The Centre is open to students on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
      • Sessions start at 4.00pm, 5.00pm and 6.00pm with one 7.00pm session on Mondays ONLY.
